Summer Dos and Don'ts

Many of the following summer no-nos have been pointed out before,
but they're so critical to your appearance that I must reiterate them in this new list:

Bare in sandals
Gentlemen, repeat after me, sandals should NOT be worn with socks. That's right, sandals are made to be worn without socks, so don't let the fashion police spot you because they might end up socking it to you.

Don't be in the dark
In the summertime, try sticking to lighter colored suits and stay away from darker ones.

Pass on the spaghetti
You'll definitely look like a meatball wearing a spaghetti-strap tank top. Instead, wear sleeveless shirts since they're all that this summer.

Don't sweat the stains
Camouflage patterns are in style this summer and my advice is to camouflage those sweat stains on your shirts, if you have any. If your shirts are permanently yellow mellow on the armpits, simply get rid of the shirts. On the other hand, if your armpits get sweaty and damp when it's hot, try using a better deodorant or antiperspirant, and also remember to keep your arms nice and low.

Roll away
This summer put your rolling skills aside. Rolled up Bermuda shorts are absolutely a fashion faux pas. Just spend a few bucks to have them altered.

Go light on the wool
Steer clear of heavy fabrics such as thick wool and fleece.

Stick to regular shorts
Unless you're aspiring for the yellow flag in the Tour de France, steer clear of bicycle shorts. Regular shorts will do just fine.

Speed away speedo
I'm going to get some heat for this one, but hey, I'm not a Speedo fan, so what the heck. Drop the less sexy Speedo and get yourself a nice pair of swimming trunks instead.

Creamy orange
Finally, self-tanning cream is just plain creepy, so for those of you who use it, take a few hours to enjoy the natural sun instead, with protection of course.
